Description
The Asset Protection Manager is primarily responsible for supporting theatres and corporate departments researching and reporting point-of-sale fraud as assigned and researched in exception reporting. These flagged exceptions must be investigated and verified via CCTV. This position also requires assisting securing of the theatre support office and managing access control processes.

Professional Skills

Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with all levels of employees, field personnel, and corporate staff. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees within the organization.
Math Ability
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to develop and interpret charts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
Reasoning Ability
Excellent reasoning and analytical skills and organizational skills are required. Must be forward thinking. Ability to identify risk and respond appropriately. Flexible and able to easily adapt to changes in the work environment.
Computer Skills
Must have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint. Must adapt quickly to new technology. Familiar with programs used by the field (i.e. Vista, RCC Admin, AX, CCTV etc.). Some use of SAQL could be useful.

This position will directly supervise the Asset Protection Team.

These flagged exceptions must be investigated and verified via CCTV. This position also requires assisting securing of the theatre support office and managing access control processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Regular and Consistent Attendance
- Conduct analysis of point-of-sale exception reports and investigate questionable transactions in UK and US verifying via CCTV where possible.
- Report investigative findings to Sr. Asset Protection and Director of Asset Protection.
- Backup administrator for Theatre support access system, parking passes and satellite offices.
- Support theatre operations with investigative findings, sharing observations to provide impressions of control.
- Support audit team with investigative findings to enhance theatre visits.
- Point of contact for inquiries from other corporate support Departments and field management. (Utilize CCTV and other investigative tools and reports)
- Manage field movie ticket/passes – inventory and distribution.
- Communicate investigative findings once closed to provide IOC / Impressions of Controls to theatre management for process improvements.
- Stay abreast of new fraud methods effecting cinemas brand and profits and share findings to contribute policy and procedure improvements to Operations to reduce fraud exposure to improve margins/profitability.
- Work with exception reporting tools to create techniques which efficiently and effectively identify fraud and train Asset Protection team to perform procedures accordingly
- Identify root causes of investigative findings, problem solving to document trends and determine course of action to reduce exposure to fraud
- Manage the development and validation of exception reports used by the Asset Protection team.
- Facilitate requested evidence and testimony for Police and Court Proceedings
- Manage field communication on external credit card fraud. Work with Company banks to reverse fraudulent charges
- Point of contact for the Motion Picture Association. Provide Regal resources to support the MPA in film piracy investigations
- Support the Director of Asset Protection with building safety and crisis management procedures and training
- Support Life Safety Manager with the installation of CCTV to ensure proper enterprise configurations. Help the field troubleshoot CCTV issues
- Deliver quarterly and monthly trends and stats reporting to Senior Management and Board of Directors and others (as requested)
- Assist with the tracking of Loss Prevention Audits
- Facilitate restitution collection and tracking
- Facilitate unclaimed property procedures and collection
- Professionally correspond with all levels of corporate and field employees
- Ability to create effective presentation and speak to educate employees on Asset Protection issues.
- Work with the Director of Asset Protection to implement companywide Asset Protection and Life Safety processes in field and theatre support office floor captain program.
- Aid in distribution of counterfeit pens and Speak Out posters.
- Be flexible and able to easily adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Excellent reasoning, problem solving, organization and analytical skills are needed.
