Job Summary
- Seeking a Registered Nurse to support Risk Management activities within the Quality Department.
- The role involves Infection Prevention support, event investigations, and regulatory compliance.
- Candidate must have experience in Infection Prevention and strong clinical judgment.
- Conduct audits and drilldowns for risk-related events.
- Lead or support event investigations and prepare SBARs (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) for leadership.
- Perform infectious disease surveillance in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Manage data and event tracking using Midas software.
- Support command center operations during emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with Accreditation, Regulation, and Licensure requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by department leadership.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Infection Prevention experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong investigative and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with risk management and quality improvement practices.
- Proficiency with healthcare software systems, including Midas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in hospital quality, risk, or infection control departments.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare accreditation.
- Prior involvement in emergency preparedness or command center operations.
- CIC (Certification in Infection Control) preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
- RN license (State-specific)
