What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading the Admissions Journey: Serve as the welcoming face of 2-Hour Learning for prospective families, addressing inquiries, guiding them through the application stages, and ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Creating Memorable First Impressions: Conduct school tours, open houses, and information sessions that vividly demonstrate how we enable students to learn twice as fast while gaining time for life skills.
  • Utilizing Data for Strategic Decisions: Monitor admissions metrics in HubSpot and SIS, analyze data trends, and provide insights to leadership to enhance outreach strategies.
  • Enhancing Our Playbook: Keep admissions FAQs and SOPs current, ensuring clarity and consistency in every interaction.
  • Fostering Meaningful Connections: Engage prospective families with empathy and insight, making their admissions journey memorable and smooth.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Dealing with Slow Bureaucratic Procedures: You will have the autonomy to act swiftly, experiment, and refine the admissions experience without multiple layers of approval.
  • Managing a Large Administrative Team: This role focuses on independently leading the admissions process, not overseeing a large team.
  • Adhering to Rigid Scripts: Every family is unique, and your interactions will be tailored and not pre-scripted.
  • Relying on Outdated Playbooks: You'll have the freedom to innovate and enhance admissions processes based on feedback and results.

Director Of Admissions Key Responsibilities

Drive enrollment conversions by delivering a personalized admissions experience that transforms inquiries into engaged, passionate families.

Basic Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years managing comprehensive admissions or enrollment processes in competitive academic settings, with a proven history of increasing enrollment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executive presence, polished and professional, capable of instilling confidence in diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple families, campuses, and deadlines concurrently.
  • Proficient with CRM and SIS systems (e.g., HubSpot, Veracross) and experienced in maintaining precise data records.
  • A history of delivering high-touch, client-facing service.
  • Must reside in Austin, TX, or be willing to relocate, with the ability to travel up to 20% within the United States.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
