Description

JOB STATEMENT: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Level II must be familiar with all Level I and Level II shipping and receiving procedures, must be able to think and act independently, and communicate with all other personnel. Also, assures that all material is received with the proper documentation and accounted for.

Essential Duties

  • Understand and comply with all ISO9001, HACCP and GMP requirements and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PC), including Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Good customer service skills
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, with good organizational skills
  • A proven multi-tasking team player, as well as an independent worker
  • All functions are defined in the Shipping & Receiving Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) manual and are to be performed as specified unless approved by a supervisor
  • Verifies proper signing authorizations from truck drivers
  • Creates Shipments in IFS 8 and prints Finished Goods Staging Sheet for lift operators
  • Print Bill of Lading (BOL) and ship finished product using IFS 8 and Novacura programs
  • Know how to manually scan pallets into trailers
  • Know how to manually process shipments in IFS 8 if Novacura is down
  • Order emergency glass, when necessary
  • Generate shipping schedule for the following day
  • Email shipping schedules to trucking companies and destination
  • Balance daily Production and Finished Goods Shipments
  • Organize, update, and maintain front cabinets free of debris
  • Receive and deliver UPS and Fed-Ex packages, appropriately
  • Assist Front Desk with telephone calls, after hours
  • Notify proper department when material / supplies arrive
  • Notify recipient when wine purchased deliveries arrive
  • Enter daily production shipment totals into corresponding logs
  • Enter Production & Downtime information into Factory PMI Database
  • Processes Month-End reconciling and balancing to Compliance Department
  • Deliver packages to sales department / management when received
  • Arrange shipments between company sites (BWC1 & BWC3)
  • Arrange for pick-up of return pallets / bulk material
  • Communicate with leads & supervisors in regards to current production and trucking needs
  • Make corrections in IFS when production has problems
  • Back up MRC’s when pallet tags will not print because of omissions in issuing on shop orders
  • Create RMA’s for product returns
  • Must have positive attitude, as willingness to get the job done, and an ability to work under the direction of others
  • Proven ability in supporting multiple projects and working in a fast-paced changing environment

Personal Protective Equipment Required

  • Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when in production facility
