Sweetgreen is looking for a strong ideator and self-starter to join our social team in growing our
community around the future of food. The Social Media Manager will play an integral role
in building the sweetgreen presence in new and innovative ways as well as cementing positive
brand love. Overall this role will help to build engagement and humanity across the entirety of
our social ecosystem, connecting food to culture.
Working closely with the Art Director and our creative team, you will be responsible for
day-to-day social community managing and posting, while also concepting content across all of
our current social platforms. You'll have a close pulse on culture, strong, witty social copywriting
skills and understand what makes our brand’s voice stand out. You’ll have an understanding of
platform strategy and can link together a narrative thread for all the content we create. We're
looking for an all-rounder who thinks about social strategically, is organized and comes to the
table with fresh ideas.

Salary Range For This Role
Starting salary range based on experience
$77,916—$111,309 USD

Core Job Duties + Responsibilities
- Spearhead and project manage new and innovative ways to build our community through different social media platforms, and social tools.
- Be responsible for managing the community across all platforms in a quick, timely fashion, owning and answering all the comments, DMs, and being an extremely active account within the social ecosphere.
- Support the evergreen content calendar building the strategy and executing content creation
- Identify potential partners for social, whether its brands or creators that will further our
- brand mission.
- Co-host social brainstorms to help creatively concept social-first ideas and bring them to life
- Copywriting across all of our social platforms.
- Aid the workflow and calendar for brand campaign content production
- Publish and/or schedule daily content
- Analyze social data and turn them into actionable next steps to iterate on strategy and approach
- Work cross functionally with the marketing team on creative projects as needed
- Understand social best practices that’s incorporated across all content
- 2-3 years experience in digital content creation
- Ability to take consumer insights and turn them into a narrative
- Experience with social measurement tools
- Energetic and collaborative with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about all things culture, internet, pop culture, emerging platforms
- Can identify, pivot and create quickly to stay on top of trending opportunities on social
- Social-first portfolio showcasing a range of creative thinking/copy at a social and brand campaign level
- Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly
- Executes at a high standard and knows when it’s important to test and learn and when it’s important to prioritize brand
