Responsibilities

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading a team of application specialists responsible for overseeing Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. The Product Manager will be accountable for creating product plans and strategies that meet functional and non-functional requirements of business units and Technology Care Team leadership. The focus will be on improving patient care through technology.

  • Leads and grows a high-performance team by selecting high potential talent, training, coaching, and providing developmental assignments. Provides feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities. Effectively plans and supports the development of individual skills and abilities.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to develop roadmaps for areas of responsibility as well as identify and recommend new solutions to meet priority business needs. Executes the product roadmap by providing direction to the product development team for product evolution and priorities, ensuring that the experience gained from external market activities, usage analysis, competitive response, and market research is reflected in future product releases.
  • Seeks customer feedback regularly to ensure services and support are efficient and effective. Surfaces and identifies repeat problems or service challenges. Develops and drives improvement plans to close gaps.
  • Drives lifecycle management of solutions from selection to implementation to upgrades and/or sunset/termination. Maintains effectiveness and adjusts effectively to change by exploring benefits, trying new approaches, and collaborating with others to make the change successful.
  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring alignment to Agile methodologies and best practices. Identifies and understands problems and opportunities by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information. Chooses the best course of action by establishing clear decision criteria, generating, and evaluating alternatives while making timely decisions. Takes action that is consistent with available facts and constraints and optimizes probable consequences.


Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for college degree requirement.
  • Work Experience: The position requires prior experience managing EHR or CRM systems. Knowledge of healthcare regulation and standards. Product Management experience with Agile methodologies, Strategic Roadmaps, Technology Roadmap, Compliance.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are arrived at each unique case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000-$100,000/annually .
