Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Denver, CO. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in managing K12 and municipal projects. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met on time, within scope, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with over 5 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple K12 and municipal construction projects simultaneously, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and maintain cost controls to keep projects within budget.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to clients and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate and oversee project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may affect project scope, schedule, or quality.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on K12 education or municipal construction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage project budgets and financial tracking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changes and unforeseen challenges.
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
