Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Min = $43.63

Mid = $56.72

Max = $69.81

Summary

The Supervisor, Occupational Therapy will oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy department. This role involves supervising clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and contributing to program development and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate occupational therapy staff, including therapists, assistants, and technicians.

Coordinate scheduling to ensure adequate staffing and efficient workflow.

Monitor patient care delivery for quality, consistency, and compliance within standards and regulations.

Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and assist in staff development and training.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective care plans.

Maintain accurate records and documentation according to organization policies and regulatory standards.

Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new occupational therapy staff.

Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Stay current with advances in occupational therapy practices and continuing education.

Other duties as assigned.

Credentials

Essential:

  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT)
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
  • MASTER'S DEGREE
  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in Occupational Therapy. 1+ years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Arizona
