Job Title: Director of Partnerships
Reports To: Festival Director
Position Overview
The Director of Partnerships is a results-driven sales professional ready to join a small, close-knit, and highly productive team. This individual will bring strong brand and agency relationships and a proven history of successfully developing and expanding media/sponsorship business across key verticals, including Automotive, Spirits, Retail, Travel, and Finance.
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate partnerships and brand activations-from contract negotiation and trade agreements to execution and cross-departmental reporting. The Director will collaborate closely with the Festival Director and other internal stakeholders to build innovative, mutually beneficial partnerships that elevate the festival experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales process to consistently grow the partnership pipeline and increase deal flow.
- Create customized, needs-based brand solutions for prospective partners.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with brands and agencies across target industries.
- Manage and renew existing corporate partnerships.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates and maintain internal sales reporting for the leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Festival Directors to design custom programs and experiences for primary partners.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas while positively contributing to team culture and company objectives.
- Recruit and manage temporary on-site festival staff.
- Oversee partner activations, partner managers, and all related on-site deliverables.
- 10+ years of experience in a commission-based media/sponsorship sales role
- Established brand and agency contacts across key verticals
- Demonstrated success in growing revenue and closing strategic, long-term business partnerships
- Strong passion for music and brand marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative team player with a good sense of humor
