Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct all phases of ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Review project scope and develop materials and manpower schedules.
  • Monitor and enforce building and safety compliance at all times.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors and internal construction teams.
  • Select tools, materials, and manage jobsite inventory effectively.
  • Ensure contractual performance metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate job status internally and externally on a regular basis.
  • Anticipate and proactively resolve issues and roadblocks on site.
  • Manage risks and apply quality control standards and methods.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Manager on resource planning.
  • Guide field teams with clear expectations and hands-on leadership.
  • Maintain detailed daily contractor logs and project records.
  • Engage with local authorities on permits and jobsite regulations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure reliable service delivery.
  • Keep worksites clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Contribute to a client-focused and team-oriented culture.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and bring energy to each workday.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial ground-up construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA/EPA standards.
  • Proven leadership and conflict management skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy: proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and construction software.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • 8 to 10-hour shifts
  • Occasional night, weekend, or overnight shifts as needed
