ALCO Designs, a leading manufacturer of innovative merchandising displays for the supermarket industry and beyond, is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Design team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for blending artistic vision with technical precision in a fast-paced environment. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence through compelling visual designs for webpages, catalogs, marketing materials, and product displays, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Product Design & Development: Partner with Industrial Design and Sales teams to ideate and refine merchandising display concepts, ensuring designs are both visually striking and manufacturable.
• Branding & Visual Identity: Develop and maintain consistent brand aesthetics across all platforms, including logos, taglines, and promotional materials that align with ALCO Designs’ brand guidelines.
• Marketing Collateral: Create high-quality digital and print assets, including catalogs, brochures, banners, business cards, social media graphics, and trade show materials, to support marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
• Web Design: Design and optimize visually appealing, user-friendly webpages to enhance ALCO Designs’ online presence and customer engagement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Marketing, Design, Sales, and Production teams to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment with company goals.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent software to create designs, including templates and die lines tailored to merchandising display production.
  
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in merchandising, retail, or manufacturing industries.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools. Familiarity with preproduction processes, material limitations, and die line creation for manufacturing.
• Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred to support diverse team and client communications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, respond to feedback, and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong creative vision with a meticulous approach to design, ensuring high-quality, error-free deliverables.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
