Jewelry Television - Media Administrator

Overview:

The Media Administrator is responsible for managing and organizing digital and physical media assets, ensuring their availability, accessibility, and proper storage. This role involves overseeing media workflows, maintaining databases, and supporting teams in retrieving and utilizing media efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, catalog, and manage digital and physical media assets in centralized systems.
• Maintain and update media asset management systems (MAM) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Monitor media storage, perform backups, and implement archiving processes.
• Assist with the ingestion, tagging, and metadata management of media files.
• Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and organizational guidelines.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on media systems and workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues related to media access, formats, or storage.
• Collaborate with content creators and IT teams to streamline media workflows.
• Track media usage and generate reports for stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of media formats, file management, and asset organization.
• Proficiency with media asset management tools and database systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with copyright and licensing regulations.

• Experience with video editing, encoding, or media production workflows.
