You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and facilitating training sessions for clients, community members, healthcare professionals, and organizational staff. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality education across various programs and healthcare initiatives.

The Trainer will design and deliver engaging, professional training materials tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare guidelines, particularly in Community Health Workers (CHWs), Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and Community Supports. This position requires strong presentation skills, curriculum development expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training content for both professional and community audiences, ensuring materials are engaging, evidence-based, and aligned with best practices.
  • Adapt training materials to suit various learning styles and professional levels, from community members to healthcare providers and organizational leadership.
  • Conduct live and virtual training sessions for internal staff, CHWs, clients, and external professionals.
  • Stay up to date with CHW, ECM, and Community Supports expectations, adjusting and developing new trainings as needed.
  • Facilitate discussions and interactive learning activities to enhance participant engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and participant progress.
  • Participate in professional development workshops to stay informed on industry trends and regulations.
  • Provide coaching and support to CHWs and new staff, offering refresher training as necessary.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making improvements based on outcomes.


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or better preferred
  • Public Speaking Experience preferred
  • Medical terminology and/or background preferred


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in training facilitation for community and/or professional audiences.
  • Curriculum development and instructional design experience.
  • Comfortable public speaking and leading professional workshops
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
