Our client is seeking a Sr. Manager of Multifamily Facilities Management portfolio of residential apartment communities throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The ideal candidate is a 'HANDS ON' proven leader, skilled in all areas of general maintenance, and able to lead a team to maximize the efficiency of portfolio operations.

YOUR ROLE

  • Traveling to multiple portfolio locations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
  • Lead and manage the onsite maintenance teams to a world-class standard.
  • Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of all building-related systems.
  • Coordinate response to resident maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reliably handle emergency situations and quickly communicate issues to your supervisor and fellow team members.
  • Develop and manage an on-call schedule with neighboring sites.
  • Effectively manage the apartment turnover process.
  • Oversee selection and management of all maintenance-related vendors.
  • Manage capital projects onsite as needed including the bid process and project/construction management.
  • Assist with the creation of the property budget and ensure cost effectiveness across all maintenance-related areas

Your Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Residential Regional Property Management
  • Expert HVAC Knowledge (EPA Certification Required) with Hands-On Proficiency
  • Comprehensive Apartment Maintenance Expertise with Hands-On Dexterity
  • Strategic Leadership and Hands-On Team Mentorship
  • Multi-Site Operational Management with Practical Problem-Solving
  • Development and Implementation of Preventative Maintenance Programs with Practical Application
  • Effective Emergency Response Management with Hands-On Intervention Capabilities
  • Strategic Oversight of Apartment Turnover with Hands-On Quality Assurance
  • Strategic Vendor Relationship Management Informed by Technical Understanding
