Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing new hire training schedules, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring HR compliance. This role works closely with the HR Director to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR processes. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, capable of multitasking, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a Human Resources or similar administrative/support role. Experience in a specific HR function (e.g., recruiting, benefits, onboarding) is acceptable.
  • An associate’s degree in a related field or a recognized HR certificate (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and U.S. employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure HR documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Maintain and update employee records and personnel files in digital and physical formats. Also, performing general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing HR correspondence.
  • Respond to routine HR-related inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior HR staff.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment support and responding to employee questions.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as team events, wellness programs, and recognition efforts.
  • Organize and schedule employee training sessions; track attendance and training completions.
  • Monitor and follow up on required employee documents, certifications, and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
  • Assist with performance reviews by tracking due dates and preparing related materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data privacy standards in all HR-related tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
