Group Overview

Air Mobility Group (AIRMOB) is responsible for developing and delivering Metrea’s aerial refueling (AAR) capabilities, ensuring the readiness and operational effectiveness of the tanker fleet. AIRMOB oversees fleet management, maintenance, and airworthiness, working to sustain and enhance refueling operations. It manages the integration of new processes and technologies, ensuring that tanker aircraft remain mission-ready through effective logistics, maintenance oversight, and regulatory compliance. By coordinating across various teams, AIRMOB ensures the fleet meets both current and future operational needs, supporting a range of specialized air mobility missions.

Position Summary

This role supports the Program Management Office (PMO) by performing various project management, financial analysis, and clerical tasks supporting internal personnel and external customers per the approved Metrea Strategic Mobility (MSM) processes. The primary focus is to create, analyze, and approve data from other departments to identify trends and provide actionable insights for strategic implementation. The Analyst will also work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in PMO, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Review pre- and post-flight data (D365, Truist, Veryon, MSM Logbook) to ensure accurate billing information is provided to the Finance Team prior to submitting Flight Revenue Invoices and Travel Invoices.
  • Perform program analysis to support business decisions, revenue and expense analysis, profitability assessments, and proposal bid/win analysis.
  • Track and manage Government funding at the Contract, Task Order, and Project levels; oversee man-hours, materials, ODCs, and travel expenses to ensure proper allocation and accurate funding management.
  • Reconcile approved Travel and Expense (T&E) balances with the Finance team to confirm funding availability for each Task Order (TO); process reimbursements for both TOR and non-TOR related expenses.
  • Coordinate, prepare, and submit contract deliverables (CDRLs, monthly Status Reports, Technical Reports, Cost Reports, and Funding and Man-Hours Expenditure Reports, Expense Estimates) in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments to create travel cost estimates that are regularly presented to the government to ensure that funding are available for mission execution and reimbursement. Collaborate with finance teams to understand and address expense requirements effectively.
  • Create and manage financial reports in alignment with contract specifications and customer-defined formats, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, particularly for month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving PMO compliance documentation (e.g., review manuals, validate expense accuracy, ensure timely submissions).
  • Generate performance analysis reports on MSM to assess project success and identify areas for improvement based on NAVAIR contract requirements.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
