Sweetgreen is looking for a Social and Brand Content Designer to execute our creative visions from within our brand team. As a multidisciplinary creative, you will play a key role in executing high-volume, brand-aligned design work as well as creating low-fi, culturally relevant content for our social platforms.

Salary Range For This Role
Starting salary range based on experience
$77,000—$111,000 USD

What You'll Do
Design + Production
- Understand the sweetgreen brand guidelines & visual systems in order to maintain our brand identity and continue to push our creative design to new heights.
- Support the launch of new restaurant openings by producing localized, brand-aligned creative assets using existing templates
- Design and execute assets for CRM on a weekly basis
- Adapt brand assets for regional needs and digital channels
- Take overarching design direction and execute VIS ID for marketing projects and campaigns that span multiple US markets, across, digital, print, OOH, and CRM.
- Understand the sweetgreen brand guidelines & visual systems in order to maintain our brand identity and continue to push our creative design to new heights.
- Collaborate and work closely with our art director to create new ways of elevating the sweetgreen identity
- Articulate creative ideas with rationale that tie back to overall social strategy
- Drive ideation and execution based on data and business objectives
- Concept and developing art direction shot lists, including lighting, styling, and composition
- Concept, shoot, and edit short-form, lo-fi content for social (IG, TikTok, etc.)
- Stay on top of cultural trends and help ideate fresh, relevant ways to show up in real-time
- Assist in producing internal and external creative requests, from social stories to behind-the-scenes footage
- Oversight of editing, music direction, color + finishing
- Execute design systems, typography, color, pattern, composition
- 5-7 years of design experience, preferably in-house or agency
- Ability to concept, shoot, and edit short-form, lo-fi content for social (IG, TikTok, etc.)
- Motion design / animation skills (After Effects or similar)
- Fluent in Adobe suite and figma
- A visual storyteller who understands brand voice and consistency
- Passion for design / culture / food / sustainability / products / trends
- A self-starter who has a constant desire to improve and remain innovative in an ever-evolving marketplace
