Registered Nurse - Clinical Education Specialist

Job Summary

The client is seeking two experienced Clinical Nurse Educators to join our dynamic healthcare team. These roles are vital in supporting clinical excellence, enhancing staff education, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. The selected candidates will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational initiatives for nursing staff in either Labor & Delivery or CVICU/ICU units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new staff
• Design and deliver ongoing educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing personnel
• Assess staff competency and support compliance with standards of care
• Utilize evidence-based practice to guide educational content
• Collaborate with leadership to identify learning needs and improve patient care outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date records of staff development activities
• Foster a positive learning environment that supports professional growth
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator
• Strong background in staff development and adult learning principles
• Experience in curriculum design and instructional delivery
• For CVICU/ICU role: Open heart experience is required

• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
