OurFinancialControllerwill be responsible for managing and overseeing theCompany’s financial activities, including financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance.As a key member of the leadership team, the FinancialControllerplays a pivotal role in shaping the financial health and long-term strategy of the Company.
The Breakdown
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and cash flow management
- Own the preparation, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Deliver financial reports and insights to executive leadership and stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working cross-functionally with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations for operational improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop scenario models, cost analysis reports, and track performance metrics to inform leadership decisions
- Direct accounting functions, banking, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Accounting team
- Direct the optimization of financial systems and tools to support business growth, scalability and data accuracy
- Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related experience required.CPA highly preferred
- Experience:8-10years of progressively responsible experience in Finance or Accounting required, with a minimum of 5 years'Financial Controller experience. Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial close processes, and general ledger oversight
- Leadership:Excellent communication and leadership skills. EOS experience a plus
- Technology Proficiency:Strong software skills. Advanced in MS Excel required. Proficiency in QuickBooks online preferred
- Analytical & Organizational Skills:Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and project management skills.Technical ability in strategic and financial planning
