Your Role: Manager, Inventory Control:
As an inventory control leader, you will manage, plan, and coordinate inventory activities and operations while overseeing a team of 20+ inventory control associates. You'll be a hands-on leader, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and efficiently while creating an engaging and high-performing work environment.
What You Bring
- 5+ years working in inventory control.
- Experience in high-volume distribution environments.
- Deep understanding of inventory systems and processes.
- Experience with Process Improvement - Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
- Strong communication, coaching, and team leadership skills - teams of 10+ ideal.
- Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar WMS systems, highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Power BI.

- Manages and motivates the inventory control team and handles all hiring, training, development, and performance appraisals.
- Oversees inventory to ensure that physical inventories are maintained and manages the inventory replenishment process while analyzing changes to inventory levels.
- Identifies and develops solutions for any slow or non-moving products and enters transfers to facilitate the movement of materials.
- Manages vendor relations and the vendor return process and analyzes future purchases to reduce exposure to excess.
- Ensures compliance with established procedures and maintains effective internal control over physical product flow and accounting of inventory areas.
- Drives inventory accuracy improvements through the implementations of tools and processes with cross functional teams in production to reduce cost and improve productivity.
- Serves as the primary point of contract for all inventory control related issues and processes.
