Who we are: We are one of three major distribution hubs for the Eaton Electrical Sector consisting of 145 employees, with projected expansion to approximately 300 employees. We operate in a 575,000 sq ft warehousing space distributing four product lines with growth to six product lines in the next year. We operate 110+ powered industrial vehicles to receive and process material for shipment.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
As Quality Manager, you will lead the site Quality team responsible for the implementation and management of the Eaton Quality Management System.
Essential Functions Include:
- Quality System Management – Plan, install, sustain, and improve a total quality system in accordance with industry and Eaton Quality Management System, ISO 9001, and customer requirements. Establish systems for data collection and analysis. Use data to drive continuous improvement activities within all DC departments. Plan for, lead, and measure “voice or process” and “voice of customer” performance and quality system effectiveness. Adjust strategy and/or procedure as necessary.
- Quality Improvement and Training – Develop and lead quality related technical training to operations to ensure the DC follows established quality policies and procedures; meets or exceeds customer quality expectations and standards; ISO and other certification requirements. Lead proactive quality improvement through the proper execution of RIE within the facility to ensure quality deliverables such as IQC associated with products. Resolve internal and external quality concerns in a definite and timely fashion.
- Leadership and Development – Manage, coach, and develop associates and promote a positive quality culture throughout the facility by establishing sound systems and a demonstrated process focus. Supervise two Customer Service Representatives and up to 10 quality associates, i.e. technicians and analysts.
- Supplier Performance Management – Install, track, and manage supplier performance through robust incoming inspection practices and supplier performance management activities.
What will make you successful?
The ideal candidate possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and has extensive project management experience in a team environment. You are familiar with applications, such as Minitab, Excel and Power BI to create reports and share data across manufacturing sites. You are adaptable, exceling in dynamic and evolving environments and experienced in implementing ISO-based Quality Management Systems. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience within a manufacturing and/or distribution center environment.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Quality function working with ISO based quality management systems.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience managing and/or supervising direct reports and/or project teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert skills in using and training quality tools (i.e. Fishbone Diagrams, 5- whys, 8D, Gage R&R, FMEA, SPC, etc.).
- Certification by the American Society for Quality as Six Sigma Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer.
- Experience with Power BI and EASE.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS.
- Spanish fluency
