This role is essential in helping us spread our message, educate our audience, and connect more deeply with our customers and team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Takes pride in creating polished, high-quality video and audio content.
  • Loves both the gear (lights, mics, cameras) and the art (editing, storytelling, post-production).
  • Geeks out on new tech and wants to push the limits of what we can do in-house.
  • Feels at home in a fast-paced environment where no two shoots are the same.
  • Is a lifelong learner who actively finds ways to level up their skills.
  • Can manage multiple projects and shifting deadlines with poise and creativity.
  • Understands that a 30-second social clip can take 3 hours to make—and still thinks it’s worth it.

Specifically For This Role, Someone Who

  • Is equally comfortable behind the camera and in post-production.
  • Knows how to light a scene so that the CEO doesn’t look like a raccoon.
  • Can clean up poor audio like a magician (or at least get close).
  • Tells compelling stories visually—without needing a full Hollywood crew.
  • Can coach non-actors (aka our staff) to look and sound natural on camera.
  • Understands brand consistency and how to match our tone and values.
  • Has strong opinions on frame rates, but knows when to let it go for the deadline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit high-quality video and audio content for training, marketing, internal communications, and social media.
  • Manage A/V equipment: setup, teardown, maintenance, upgrades.
  • Maintain and organize our digital media library for fast reuse and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with our marketing, people ops, and executive teams on creative direction and messaging.
  • Create social-ready versions of longer content: teasers, clips, audiograms.
  • Work alongside our CEO to capture podcast episodes, internal videos, and leadership messages.
  • Support live events and offsite meetings with A/V setup and tech support.
  • Stay current with trends in video production, tools, and platforms to continuously improve our output.

Key Results Areas (aka the Job Outcomes)

  • Videos are high quality and require minimal revisions.
  • Projects are completed on time and support key business goals.
  • Leadership messages are clear, compelling, and well-produced.
  • Internal stakeholders feel supported, coached, and proud of the final product.
  • A/V equipment is organized, up-to-date, and always ready for action.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in videography, sound engineering, and post-production.
  • Proficient in tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
  • Familiar with lighting equipment, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, boom mics, and audio recorders.
  • Working knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
  • Experience with livestream setups and remote recordings is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree not required—portfolio and experience matter more.

The Bottom Line

You’ve made it this far—congratulations! We’re looking for a team player with high creative standards and a strong service mindset. Someone who loves telling stories through video and believes in the power of communication to build trust and drive action.

Total compensation for the role is between $70k and $90k, depending on experience. This is a full-time, in-office role with occasional flexibility, based at our Glendale HQ (just off the 101). We provide the tools, the talent, and the time—if you bring the vision.
