Job Location: Visalia

Schedule: Monday-Thursday-9 Hour Days, Friday-4 Hour Days

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:

  • Track project status, budgets, and deliverables; maintain clear communication
  • Lead projects that incorporate multiple disciplines
  • Direction and performance of consulting, design or construction management services for assigned project(s), ensuring work is performed in conformance with project objectives and requirements, project performance metrics (e.g., client satisfaction, profitability), and quality requirements
  • Responsible for client relationship management, including creating a positive experience that will lead to future work
  • Develop and manage all project documentation and reporting, and communicate with project managers, project staff, and designers.
  • Facilitate meetings with project managers, project staff, and designers; prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Review and track construction contracts, construction schedules and costs.
  • Review, negotiate and process change orders including costs and time.
  • Work with the project team to avoid or minimize project risks due to potential issues, change orders, etc. and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner by providing solutions and guidance and reporting any impacts to management.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a project management role working with large scale projects, preferably in AEC industry / professional services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing others
  • Demonstrated success in acting as an Assistant Project Manager and/or managing ones own discipline/area of expertise in a lead role
  • Foundational understanding of all core engineering disciplines, project execution, delivery in a design and construction.


Compensation

The salary will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for these positions is $100,000 to $140,000 annually, however is dependent on years and level of experience.
