The Renovation and Construction Project Lead is responsible for supporting the administration of renovation and construction loan programs, with a focus on project oversight, contractor vetting, compliance, and process development. This role will also be instrumental in implementing new programs and providing training and support to sales and operations.
The salary for the position is $75k+ based off of experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide training and ongoing support to sales teams on renovation and construction loan programs.
- Review and help maintain current guidelines for renovation and construction lending.
- Develop and streamline internal processes for renovation and construction loan workflows.
- Review construction contracts and renovation bids for accuracy and feasibility.
- Monitor renovation and construction projects to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve issues related to project delays, cost overruns, or quality concerns.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance to borrowers, loan officers, and internal teams on renovation and construction best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with lending regulations, internal policies, and risk management protocols.
- Serve as a liaison to mediate disputes or concerns between borrowers, contractors, and other involved parties.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in renovation and construction lending.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diplomas or Equivalent.
- 5 years or mortgage residential real estate or construction lending experience, preferred.
- Knowledge of Encompass and Land Gorilla Construction Loan Manager, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Skilled in problem solving.
- Ability to prioritize and tasks meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Windows.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
