We prefer applicants be centrally located near Columbia, MO, but will consider qualified applicants in a commutable distance (ex. KC/STL) for a hybrid option.

Key Responsibilities

Legal & Transactional Support

  • Assist with business and real estate transactions, including reviewing and coordinating closing documents, preparing closing binders, and liaising with external parties (e.g., counsel, lenders, title companies).
  • Conduct legal research, fact-checking, and issue-spotting across a variety of topics.
  • Draft and support review of legal documents, including bylaws, resolutions, compliance forms, and entity formation materials.
  • Analyze due diligence materials including title commitments, property reports, lending documents, and organizational records.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain and manage corporate records, ensuring all documentation is organized, accurate, and accessible.
  • Track and calendar all relevant legal and regulatory deadlines to ensure timely filings and compliance.

Administrative & Departmental Support

  • Respond to internal and external audit and information requests with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners, and manage legal calendars and deadlines.
  • Act as a key resource for general administrative legal support, including document control, entity management, and workflow tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and other internal stakeholders across the Premiere ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Paralegal Certificate, or relevant legal education required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal project manager role; experience with real estate, corporate, or transactional law preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of business entity structures, compliance filings, and due diligence processes.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to manage high-volume tasks with precision.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-moving, evolving business environment.
  • Experience in cross-functional or entrepreneurial settings is a plus.
