This position is accountable to the Hospice Director.
Requirements
- Commitment to quality programs and services for the residents.
- Excellent communications and human relation skills.
- Ability to relate well to the residents/ families, staff, churches and the community in general.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions and exhibit flexibility when needed.
- Must be self-directed and able to function independently, demonstrating good time management skills to handle multiple variations in daily schedule.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to manage data and reports in electronic format.
- Must be a licensed registered nurse with active licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- Working knowledge of Federal and State Hospice regulations.
- Ability to provide leadership and supervision that fosters a team approach in meeting the mission and goals of the organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Hospice, Medicare process and regulations.
