Job Description
The Health Administrator performs essential tasks in the department to help ensure maximum health and wellness for each child and compliance with health regulations. This role collaborates with a diverse team of CPCD staff and families. Duties include reviewing child health files, determining needed health requirements according to state regulations and Head Start Performance standards, communicating and collaborating with families, teachers, and other departments to ensure timely completion of all health requirements.
Pay: $19.62/hr.

Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to type 50 wpm accurately and have experience operating general office equipment.
- Able to interpret records accurately and navigate complex data.
- Must be able to form professional and collaborative working relationships with parents, children, and staff.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to meet timelines.
- Ability to communicate in a kind and firm demeanor to establish cordial rapport with families.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination, TB test, drug test (including marijuana), and background check in accordance with the Office of Head Start Performance Standards and Childcare Licensing. (Physical examination and TB test thereafter as required).
- Must have access to reliable transportation and if using a personal vehicle must maintain minimum liability insurance as determined by the State of Colorado.
- Experience in a medical or childcare environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
