Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the execution of marketing initiatives across various channels. Working collaboratively with a cross-functional team, this individual will contribute to the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing deliverables and tactics, encompassing advertising, social media, design, email communication, websites, and content creation. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Specific Job Functions

  • Internal Communications: Assist in drafting, coordinating, and distributing professionally written materials to inform bank employees of corporate and departmental news.
  • Event Support: Coordinate logistics for internal and external events, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and materials prep.
  • Promotional Materials Management: Maintain and track promotional materials by coordinating orders, monitoring inventory levels, and shipping items to internal clients.
  • Marketing & Advertising Implementation: Assist in implementing marketing and advertising plans across diverse platforms, including social media and traditional media channels.
  • Vendor & Agency Coordination: Support ongoing projects by tracking timelines, routing deliverables, and maintaining status updates with our creative, media, and production partners.
  • Digital Presence Management: Help update and maintain the bank’s website, social media channels, intranet, and digital signage systems.
  • Cross-Departmental Marketing Support: Provide hands-on support to all internal departments,including the b1 FOUNDATION, Smith Shellnut Wilson, Waterstone, etc.
  • Content & Asset Management: Assist in organizing photo, video, and design assets. Coordinate the creation and distribution of flyers, presentations, signage, and branded collateral.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Project Coordination: Manage timelines, task lists, and action items across campaigns and internal initiatives using tools such as Asana, HubSpot, and SharePoint.
  • Administrative Support: Handle purchase orders, invoices, expense tracking, and team scheduling as needed.


Minimum Job Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or related fields (internships count required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot or similar tools preferred. LMK

  • Experience with content creation and marketing automation preferred.
