Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and development across engineering, construction, and technical support.
  • Oversee program schedules, budgets, funding allocations, and closeout procedures.
  • Manage program planners, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals.
  • Develop and execute funding strategies, including leveraging grants and partnerships.
  • Conduct value engineering and mitigate cost overruns.
  • Produce executive reports and participate in litigation support when needed.
  • Evaluate and enhance program effectiveness, policies, and reporting practices.
  • Facilitate community engagement and stakeholder communication on high-profile projects.
  • Mediate project conflicts and participate in change order and contract negotiations.
  • Provide mentorship and document lessons learned to continually improve team performance.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience:
    • 10+ years of professional experience managing and administering complex programs and projects.
    • At least 4 years managing programs within public or educational institutions.
    • Experience concurrently managing multiple public sector programs is strongly preferred.
  • Required Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
    • Additional experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
    • Licenses & Certifications (All Required)
    • CCM, PE, Licensed Architect are preferred not required.
    • LEED Professional Accreditation
