The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a critical bridge between Galvanize Therapeutics and the oncology community in addition to being an expert resource for the company’s procedures, customer training, clinical site support and study execution. The MSL is responsible for messaging relevant information to customers and building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) primarily in the fields of oncology and pulmonology. This role requires a deep understanding of Galvanize products, oncology, clinical and pre-clinical data, and Aliya treatment planning.

Education and Training
This role pays between $155,000 and $170,000 per year, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

- Engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) specific to Aliya pre-clinical and clinical data, publications, abstracts and journal articles.
- Serve as a technical and procedural expert.
- Lead procedural training with physicians and support staff.
- Deliver educational presentations to customers and internal teams.
- Develop Aliya training materials.
- Identify and appropriately escalate any potential risks.
- Identify processes that may need improvement and communicate this to management.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems with products in the field.
- Report product complaints and support any corrective action as needed.
- Contribute to clinical study site selection.
- Drive clinical study enrollment as agreed upon and determined by study timelines.
- Provide support to clinical trial sites inclusive of procedure proctoring, data collection, patient selection, and addressing protocol-related questions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs.
- Work cross functionally with other departments such as Professional Education, Regulatory, Sales, Legal and Operations.
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, engineering, or other

- Knowledge of oncology therapeutic area preferred
- Strong working knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH Guidelines, GCP, ISO 14155, and current industry practices related to the conduct of clinical trials
- 5+ years of experience in the medical device field
- 5+ years of experience proctoring procedures
- Capable of delivering key messages to physicians
- Strong interpersonal communication (written and verbal), organizational and prioritization
- Able to work effectively under a fast-paced and changing environment
- Able to work autonomously with strong work ethics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including MS Project (or equivalent), with technical abilities to become proficient quickly with numerous other electronic systems
- Detailed oriented, with good organizational and time management skills
- Complete projects with high quality and minimal guidance
- Able to handle a moderate volume of highly complex tasks within a given timeline
