Morgan Financial is a growing, customer-centric, Mortgage Banker located in Melbourne, FL. We are looking for top talent to join our successful team.

Currently, we have an opening for a Mortgage Processor. You do not need processing or mortgage experience. We offer a positive and rewarding work environment with competitive compensation and benefits. This position is a full-time, in office. It requires a highly energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented person. You should enjoy connecting with customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare a complete and accurately processed file to submit to Underwriting for timely approval, this includes
  • Provide outstanding customer service in each interaction
  • Act as a liaison between borrower and third-party companies 
  • Ensure Loan files contain proper documents, disclosures, signatures, and dates
  • Prepare and obtain required documentation from borrowers to clear conditions
  • Order and follow up on third-party verifications
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documents received
  • Input, verify, and update file contacts with parties to transaction 
  • Accurately update files in Encompass and assemble files to submit for Underwriting Review  
  • Prepare file for closing by obtaining information to clear Prior To Closing (PTC) Conditions
  • Responsible for the privacy and security of all non-public borrower and company information 
  • Consistently and accurately clear loans to close within 10 business days


To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to:

  • Read and comprehend lending laws, lending forms, real estate contracts and language, credit, foreclosure, short sales, and delinquent accounts 
  • Basic accounting processes and procedures; ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all math measurements 
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing to provide excellent communication to borrowers and team members in person, via email, and on the phone 
  • Handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions  
  • Handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy 
  • Excellent organizational and file documentation skills  
  • Knowledge and experience using MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, and Google Chrome 
  • Ability to operate general office machines and equipment such as: keyboards, personal computer, scanners, and printers
