Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the Phoebe Cancer Care Boutique operation under the direction of the Phoebe Cancer Center. Oversee the daily operation of the Phoebe Cancer Care Boutique specifically catering to the needs of cancer patients and their families, focusing on providing a welcoming and supportive environment while managing inventory, staff and sales. Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (self-education, attend ongoing educational programs).
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (Required)
Work Experience
3 Or More Years Retail Sales Experience (Required)
3 or more years supervisory/training experience (Required
Certifications and Licensures
Mastectomy Fitter Certification (Required)
Essential Functions
Patient Navigation Certification (Preferred
Works with referring medical professional regarding patients’ needs.
Verify and update patient insurance and demographic information.
Educate clients on cancer support services including pre and post mastectomy options.
Provide consultation and fitting services to patients for bras, breast prosthesis, post-surgical camisoles, head covering and compression garments.
Documents patient’s conditions and medical necessity of products.
Comprehensive knowledge of product care.
Responsible for charge entry, verifying encounter forms with charges, inventory usage etc.
Familiarity with products and vendor sources.
Understanding of computerized ordering system for patient purchases, stock receiving, and creating special orders, and ensuring inventory accuracy
Conduct inventory transactions accurately and efficiently according to departmental policies.
Utilize retail work practices including pricing, merchandise presentation and assisting in marketing or products and services to ensure success of the Manage the boutique’s budget, including expenses and revenue.
Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure accurate record – keeping and financial reporting.
Enter comprehensive client information into POS system to include, insurance provider information; patient contact information including custom fields; product sales; and any pertinent notes.
Collaborate with the cancer support groups, wellness centers and providers to promote the boutique’s services and resources.
Participate in community events and outreach activities.
