Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Planner Analyst plays a critical role in aligning supply with demand by analyzing data, creating forecasts, and driving purchasing and sourcing strategies. This position requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration with sales, production, and supplier partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods. This role's work will directly support operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and inventory optimization.

The Supply Chain Planner Analyst owns the end-to-end planning process for assigned product categories, utilizing ERP data, forecasts, historical sales, and supply chain tools to develop and execute reliable demand and supply plans. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, data automation, and advanced analytics using tools like Excel, VBA, and Python.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute demand/supply plans based on historical trends, forecasts, and sales insights
  • Lead planning reviews to inform purchase order replenishment strategies
  • Maintain strong communication with suppliers, internal teams, and production to ensure clear visibility and resolve issues proactively
  • Interpret BOMs, specifications, work orders, and other planning elements to ensure continuity of supply
  • Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to meet on-time delivery metrics
  • Support sourcing initiatives and evaluate opportunities for supply chain optimization
  • Act as the point of contact for internal queries related to material availability, delivery schedules, and product quality
  • Monitor and resolve daily backorders and expedite purchases when needed
  • Manage and update planning tools, spreadsheets, and automation scripts (Excel, VBA, Python)
  • Generate standard and custom reports to provide insight to management and support decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Overtime will be required for this position.

Qualifications

Qualifications Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in supply or demand planning, purchasing, or operations
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred
  • Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with VBA and Python is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving ability, and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet business-driven deadlines

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based role with occasional exposure to warehouse environments
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods and operate a computer
  • Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
  • Repetitive wrist and hand movements for computer usage
