The Role

The Director of Supply Chain Procurement, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for key functions within the Supply Chain Management team including:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Lead the SCM team to identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance.
  • Analyze market trends, industry benchmarks and supplier capabilities to identify opportunites for cost savings and improved quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement intitiatives across the company profile.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsivness to the contract requirement.
  • Grow the advance supplier devleopment and intrusive supplier project management team to ensure performance to the manufacturing schedule and specifications in the contract.
  • Collobrate and grow the AUKUS and future business strategies to expand the supply chain globally.
  • Administer the supply chain risk program identifying program and supply chain risks.

Must Have

Bachelors degree plus 10 years of applicable progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience OR Master's degree and 8 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

The ideal candidate should have a strong procurement background familiar with FAR/DFAR and compliance requirements in the defense industrial base and have experience working with suppliers to come through performance challenges, the ability to manage multiple high priority objectives simultaneously and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
