JOB DESCRIPTION And RESPONSIBILITIES

The Analyst – Technology and Business Intelligence is responsible for

  • Developing data analytics solutions using Power BI by accessing various data sources to create actionable and interactive data visualizations and models to empower our clients to be Decision Ready
  • Analyzing datasets to identify issues/trends and develop alternatives to support business objectives
  • Designing methods to enhance and streamline existing data flow tasks
  • Working with teammates to identify, evaluate, and implement creative yet practical solutions based on client needs
  • Possessing an in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses to ensure dashboards/reports meet client needs
  • Supporting various technology initiatives across the RTG service platform
  • Improving efficiency through identification, evaluation and adoption of technology solutions
  • Designing methods to enhance and streamline data capture, analysis and workflows
  • Understanding data sources, data structures, and business applications to ensure alignment with stated needs
  • Developing data visualization and executive dashboards for internal and external applications
  • Analyzing real estate portfolio datasets to identify issues/trends/opportunities
  • Performing market, demographic and geospatial planning, including GIS / mapping analysis
  • Improving data visualization tools and interactive reporting tools

Education And Experience

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Real Estate, Business, Business Analytics, Geographic Information Science or related field and/or relevant work experience
  • Advanced experience with data capture, analysis and reporting, with specific emphasis on MS Excel and Power BI software platforms
  • Advanced experience with various GIS, demographic and mapping platforms, including ESRI products, Maptitude, and Google Earth applications
  • Ability to create and modify T-SQL queries
  • Proficient with ETL process and data cleaning
  • Experience with MS Power Automate and Power Apps
  • General coding abilities in Python and knowledge of website development (not required but preferred)

ALLOCATION OF TIME

  • Business Development Support – 10%
  • Internal / Client Project Support – 80%
  • Administrative – 10%

Overnight travel may be required up to 10%.
