Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing Finance team! This role will support the FP&A Manager and the overall FP&A function, with a specific focus on operations, procurement, and logistics. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop budgets, track performance, and support strategic initiatives with meaningful insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Modeling & Analysis

  • Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis to support strategic business decisions.
  • Develop business cases, uncover trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders by identifying performance opportunities and supporting decision-making.
  • Translate complex financial findings into clear, accessible formats for non-financial stakeholders.

Reporting

  • Prepare and distribute routine and ad-hoc financial reporting packages.
  • Interpret financial results and highlight potential risks or opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and presentations to visualize financial and operational performance.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data across reporting systems.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and management of annual budgets and long-term forecasts.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to improve forecasting accuracy and scenario planning.
  • Monitor variances from budget and forecast; provide meaningful explanations and propose solutions.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Support enhancements to financial planning systems (e.g., OneStream, SAP, Incorta).
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in tools and workflows.
  • Assist in the adoption and training of new financial technologies or processes.

Expected Skills And Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting (preferably in operations or supply chain environments).
  • Experience with ERP, EPM, and BI tools (e.g., SAP, OneStream, Incorta, Access, MXP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Comfortable presenting complex ideas in clear, concise formats.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Exposure to global or enterprise-wide budgeting processes.
  • Background in logistics, procurement, or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and influence change.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

The annual salary range for this position in the specified geographic location is $70,000 - $75,000. The actual salary will be based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
