We’re seeking a Planner to join our dynamic team and take ownership of production scheduling and inventory planning. In this essential role, you’ll help keep our operations running smoothly—ensuring production meets demand, inventory stays optimized, and workflow remains efficient.

This position can be based in Nekoosa, Wisconsin Rapids, or Appleton, WI.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and manage detailed production schedules in close collaboration with production managers, accounting for resource availability and priorities.

Maintain a site service level of 93%+ across all product lines.

Convert schedules into actionable procurement plans for timely material and component acquisition.

Monitor inventory usage and levels to preempt shortages or overages—adjust schedules proactively.

Serve as a key communication point between operations, customer service, and bidding teams.

Analyze data using scheduling and inventory management tools to generate insights and continuously improve operations.

Use data to identify trends, forecast needs, and make proactive planning adjustments.

Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimize scheduling and reduce waste.

Mitigate risks by anticipating supply chain or production disruptions and developing contingency plans.

What It Takes

APICS CPIM certification or similar credentials preferred.

3–5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations.

Background in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).

Proficient with ERP systems, planning/scheduling software, and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills a plus).

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; confident interpreting data to support decisions.

Clear communicator and collaborative team player; comfortable working cross-functionally.

Able to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Resourceful problem solver with a proactive mindset.
