Job Summary

The Training Specialist supports the development and delivery of training and quality assurance programs to enhance employee performance and ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed. Reporting to the Quality Assurance & Training Manager, this role designs and implements effective learning solutions, evaluates employee workflows to identify areas for improvement and fosters a culture of continuous learning, organizational compliance and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions

  • Develops, coordinates, and delivers training and quality assurance, including orientation, quality assurance evaluations, and continuing education tailored to the needs of assigned departments or teams.
  • Assists in the design and implementation of training and quality assurance initiatives ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Communicates and educates employees on policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements through clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Utilizes technology and learning management systems (LMS) to deliver, track, and evaluate training and quality assurance workflows.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training and quality assurance programs, making adjustments as needed to improve learning outcomes.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure correct assessments.
  • Analyzes quality assurance data and identifies areas for improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of experience training and quality assurance required.
  • Experience in a corporate or healthcare environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training and quality assurance technologies.
  • Analytical skills to assess training and quality assurance needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and identify issues with proposed solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
