Job Summary/Objective

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include problem resolution on issues involving agency guidelines and internal lending overlays to facilitate the purchase of loans from approved correspondents to the sale of loans to our investors.

Essential Functions

  • Must be detail-oriented and customer service minded
  • Responsible for clearing loans for purchase from correspondents and transferring to investors.
  • Experience in mortgage loan processing, originating, closing, or underwriting is desired
  • Works to ensure the smooth flow of loans from purchase to sale utilizing the following management reports: 1) Deficiencies Detail Report, 2) Loan Flow Timing Report, 3) Investor Reports.
  • Manages a pipeline of 50-100 loans
  • Assists correspondents in uploading required documents and corrections in a timely manner.
  • Reviews investor’s deficiencies and uploads needed documentation to investor’s portal
  • Communicates daily with correspondents and investors.

Work Environment

This position can be remote or onsite at CBCMA South Jordan, UT location. Remote employees are required to be readily available by telephone and video conference during normal business hours.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional evenings as job duties demand.

Travel

No travel expected.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of position-related experience.
  • SAR and LAAP certifications (preferred).

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be authorized to legally work within the United States of America.
