The role
We’re looking for a dynamic Partnerships Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening relationships that power our Reparative Futures Programme.
In this exciting role, you’ll lead and support meaningful engagement with a diverse range of partners -both internally and externally including staff, students, communities stakeholders, and organisations. You'll be at the heart of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, curating spaces for conversation, co-creation and driving connectivity across communities.
From coordinating day-to-day collaboration activities to supporting impactful events, setting up digital collaboration tools, and producing compelling reports to ensure the insights and voices really inform lasting change - you’ll ensure our partnerships thrive. You’ll also be instrumental in planning and delivering creative engagement initiatives that bring our vision for reparative futures to life.
By 2034, this programme will have built valuable and sustainable partnerships with people of African descent, dismantling barriers to racial equity within university structures and systems. Together, we will take meaningful steps to repair, rebuild, and transform — creating an organisation with a truly inclusive culture and zero tolerance for anti-Black racism.

We’re working to make the University of Bristol a place of choice, pride, and success for students, staff, alumni, and communities, regardless of race.
We welcome applications from all candidates and particularly encourage individuals of African descent and those with lived experience of anti-Black racism to apply. We are building a team that reflects the communities we work with, and your leadership, insight and expertise are vital to shaping an inclusive and equitable future at the University of Bristol.
Please note: This role is offered at 0.8 FTE (28 hours per week). However, for the right candidate, we are happy to consider applications from those wishing to work between 21 and 35 hours per week.
