Human Resource Director, Winston-Salem, NC ($120k+)

Searching for a Human Resource Director for a rapidly growing manufacturer in Winston-Salem, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, promoting a positive work environment
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs ensuring competitiveness and compliance
  • Direct performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Provide coaching and guidance to senior management and HR team members
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Oversee HR metrics and reporting to inform strategic decisions
  • Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships (e.g., recruitment agencies, benefits providers)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of HR experience. Experience in GovCon environment preferable
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employment standards
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving aptitude
  • Proficient in HR software and systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now)
