Position Description
This position is responsible for supervising the daily activities of a production area to ensure that volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved. Coordinates work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity. Monitors production activities, identifies process problems, troubleshoot causes and develop solutions. Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and safety. Delivers or coordinates training and on board to new employees. Ensure that all processes, safety policies and internal rules are followed.

Position Description

Required Knowledge And Skills
- Ability to execute and organize production plans and schedules
- Ability to manage resources (people, material, equipment) to meet production demands.
- Experience with ERP and production support systems
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Knowledge of measurement equipment
- Experience with conflict resolution in a managerial or supervisory role
- Knowledge of safety and environmental rules
- Ability to identify training needs and provide technical training
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering discipline
- 5+ years’ experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Must be bi-lingual English/Spanish
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Legally authorized to work in US
