The 340B Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance of Mosaic Community Health’s 340B Drug Pricing Program. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations Manager, this role leads internal auditing, data analysis, reporting, and program integrity efforts. This role will also monitor inventory and purchasing, and ensure the program aligns with all federal, state, and organizational requirement data analysis and audits to review data to identify trends, problems, areas of noncompliance and reports findings to the Pharmacy Operations Manager. The coordinator conducts internal and external 340B Program auditing and compiles data for presentation to leadership.

Program Management & Compliance

  • Assist in developing policies and procedures for the 340B Program.
  • Stay current on 340B laws and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Monitor all 340B activities for compliance and address issues as needed.
  • Develop and deliver staff education and training related to the 340B Program.
  • Regularly attends meetings with contracted 340B vendors and third-party administrators.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Submit accurate and timely patient encounter data with external 340B partners.
  • Use tools like Tableau, Excel, SQL, and Epic to analyze and report on pharmacy and 340B data.
  • Produce regular reports and provide data insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Pharmacy leadership to develop and document pharmacy metrics and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to improve data accuracy and reporting.

Audits & Reporting

  • Perform monthly and/or annual audits of contract and in-house pharmacies including but not limited to:
    • 340B clinic administered medication logs
    • 340B patient eligibility
    • Compliance audit
  • Support annual mock audits and manage HRSA/OPAIS registration updates.
  • Ensure audit readiness and assist with external audit responses.
  • Track audit findings and support resolution and process improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails.
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues promptly to Pharmacy Operations Manager.
Inventory & Purchasing

  • Monitor 340B drug inventory and purchasing activity.
  • Track savings, discrepancies, problem areas and ensure proper replenishment in collaboration with the Mediation Coordinator.
  • Provide monthly reports and recommendations to the Pharmacy Operations Manager.

Work Experience: At least two (2) years of administrative work in a healthcare setting. Pharmacy experience preferred.

Education, certification and licensure: High school diploma or equivalent required. Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.

Skills & Knowledge: Knowledge of prescription drugs and electronic health records. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse population and professionally represent Mosaic Community Health. Intermediate ability and experience in computer applications, specifically electronic medical records system, Excel, Power Point and MS Office. Visual analytics and SQL experience preferred.
