WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage the Concur process for Accounts Payable

  • Use working knowledge of all aspects of Concur Expense and Invoices to facilitate full support for staff and vendors.
  • Processing of invoices and check requests, including approvals in Concur assuring timely payment.
  • Maintain approval workflow in Concur, adhering to approval limit policies.
  • Train users on the Concur system. Teach users how to code expenses.
  • Review online expense reports and invoices for accuracy and compliance, working with staff to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide direction, support, and answer questions for staff.

Manage the credit card program

  • Use working knowledge of the Bank of America @works website and program to support staff.
  • Maintain and adhere to all approval limits and credit card use policies.
  • Assist staff users with their credit card questions and issues.
  • Assist staff with lost and stolen credit cards and fraud issues.
  • Issue credit cards for staff as requested, getting proper approvals, and maintaining documentation of those approvals.
  • Upon issuance of a credit card, training staff with the credit card policy of the church and how to process transactions in Concur.

Other Accounting Duties

  • Manage the vendor process and relationships. Contact vendors as needed to solve problems and provide answers.
  • Miscellaneous accounting and administrative functions.

What You Have Done

  • Processing of invoices and check requests (input check requests, post batches, print checks or ACH transactions)
  • Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Concur
  • Experience with Sage Intacct
  • Experience with Excel
  • Organization, attention to detail, analyzing information, data entry
  • Working closely with vendors and staff, including senior leadership
  • Supervising staff and volunteers
  • High School Required
  • College Preferred

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $69,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
