The Quality Technician will work closely with Quality Team, CSR and Sales to ensure all associated tasks for customers are carried out in a professional and timely manner. Responsibilities
- Printing and reviewing job tickets for errors
- Adding JT’s to MaintainX
- Reprint and replacing JT’s and PDF’s as necessary
- Preparing customer samples
- Preparing Lights and Darks/Ideal Color Standards (External-Customer)
- Color Standard creation (Internal)
- Color Standard filing and maintenance of color standards (Internal)
- Pulling Samples per internal requests
- Filing and maintaining Job Ticket Folders
- Responding to email requests (varies day to day)
- Perform inspections on labels according to well defined criteria using specifications.
- Participate in the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) inspection function.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for corrective action to supervisor.
- Work with Quality Assurance to provide feedback to other departments.
- Reject finished products, as necessary.
- Assist Quality and Production Manager to investigate customer complaints.
- Notify any problem or alert regarding converting process to Quality and Production Manager
- Quarantine nonconforming products and advise Quality and Production Manager for disposition.
- Document and control quality findings and data in electronic records.
- Must work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to meet daily standards.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Observe company work rules and safety regulations.
- Excellent teamwork, and interpersonal communications skills
- Good computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel); plus, ability to learn color management software.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color acuity and the ability to adjust focus. Must have good judgment of color required for Color Hue evaluation.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must have strong basic mathematical skills.
- Dexterity of hands.

- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be flexible as multiple shifts are worked at facility.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Initiative-taking with all continuous improvement initiatives.
Warehouse environment requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various physical tasks. It is essential that candidates are capable of meeting the following physical requirements:
- Lifting and carrying:
- The ability to lift and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds is necessary for this position. May be required to move heavy boxes, equipment, or inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Standing and walking:
- This role involves extended periods of standing and walking within the warehouse facility. Candidates must have the physical endurance to remain on their feet for extended periods while performing their duties.
- Manual dexterity:
- Must have good manual dexterity to handle and manipulate small items, operate color measurement equipment, and perform tasks that require precise movements.
- Bending, stooping, and reaching:
- The ability to bend, stoop, and reach for items on lower and higher shelves is crucial.
- Physical agility:
- This role may involve navigating narrow aisles, climbing ladders, and maneuvering in confined spaces. Physical agility and coordination are necessary to perform these tasks safely and efficiently.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Candidates should be aware that the physical demands of the job may vary depending on the specific warehouse environment and the nature of the products being overseen. Adequate training and safety measures will be provided to ensure the well-being of all Warehouse Associates.
- Lift/Carry - 60% of Shift
- Standing - 100% of Shift
- Walk - 95% of Shift
- Reach Outward - 50% of Shift
- Squat/Kneel - 25% - 50% of Shift
- Lift Up To 40lbs - 50% of Shift
