The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join our fast-growing technology company specializing in Audio Visual Systems, custom technology integrations, and IT infrastructure solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in Technology integration and deployment and who can translate technical expertise into strategic product direction, go-to-market strategy, and customer-focused solutions.

This is a hybrid role based out of Fishers, IN. Team members are expected to be in-office 3 days per week and work-from-home 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and market needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats and inform product development decisions.
  • Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams in the development, launch, and continuous improvement of IT and AV products.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure products deliver exceptional value.
  • Roadmap Management: Create and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business impact and customer feedback.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, sales, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
  • Training: Help develop and provide product training to internal employees.

Competencies

Must-Haves

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or development within the commercial audio-visual industry
  • Product Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of products such as Biamp, Crestron, ViewSonic, Lumens, Yealink, and others.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the IT and AV market, including trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of product development processes, technologies, and methodologies specific to the commercial audio-visual industry.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Education: A master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Product Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Product Management Certification are highly desirable.
