Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent that aligns with organizational goals. This role proactively sources candidates through various channels, executes strategic hiring initiatives, and partners closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure a seamless and inclusive recruitment experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is instrumental in drafting compelling job postings, coordinating interviews, administering pre-employment processes, and supporting compensation decisions. By maintaining compliance with employment laws and promoting diversity and equity in hiring, the Talent Acquisition Specialist contributes to building a strong talent pipeline and improving overall retention. This position thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and plays a key role in supporting broader HR initiatives and company growth objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through headhunting, job boards, and other strategic recruitment channels to fill both forecasted and unplanned vacancies.
  • Execute recruitment strategies to identify top talent and align candidate needs and goals with organizational objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive information to candidates regarding job roles, responsibilities, required skills, and expectations.
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and make recommendations to hiring managers for further consideration.
  • Schedule interviews, ensuring a minimum number of qualified candidates are considered per role, when applicable.
  • Facilitate offer negotiations and support hiring managers in developing competitive and equitable compensation packages.
  • Draft and maintain accurate and compelling job postings and descriptions; manage internal and external job advertisements.
  • Initiate pre-employment background checks and transition the process to the HR Generalist for follow-through.
  • Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain organized and up-to-date candidate records and documentation.
  • Prepare and process offer letters, coordinate candidate handoff to onboarding, and collaborate with the HR Generalist to ensure a seamless pre-hire paperwork transition.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure a fair and inclusive evaluation of both internal and external candidates, providing constructive feedback as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze market data to inform competitive total rewards and compensation strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, EEO, and state specific hiring laws; promote diversity and inclusion in recruitment efforts.
  • Foster a strong candidate pipeline and talent portfolio to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives and projects, as assigned.
  • Support a collaborative, fast-paced, and goal-driven team environment to enhance candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Drive efforts to improve retention by ensuring quality placements through thorough evaluation and reference checking.

  • Sourcing Strategies: Proficiency in utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking) to identify and attract top talent.
  • Candidate Assessment: Ability to effectively screen and evaluate candidates for both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; capable of articulating job requirements clearly and professionally to candidates and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Experience negotiating job offers, managing candidate expectations, and ensuring successful onboarding processes.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfort with using recruitment metrics and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to guide decision-making and improve hiring processes.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Maintains a high level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive candidate and company information.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Sourcing Specialist or a comparable title, and a proven track record of performance.
  • Bilingual Spanish, highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Understanding of HR processes and talent acquisition trends.
  • Experience with applicant tracking software, preferably Paylocity.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Must be detail oriented and have a sense of urgency while working in a team environment.
  • Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Specialist, Sales Recruiting, High Volume Recruiting, Diversity Sourcing experience preferred.
  • Certifications in Recruiting, Sourcing or HR; AIRS Sourcing Certification, Strategic Talent Acquisition, Certified Internet Recruiter, preferred.
