Summary

The Communication Assistant plays a critical support role in the Marketing Department, assisting with the execution of digital campaigns, content scheduling, and workflow coordination. This position supports Communication Coordinators by managing social media postings, SMS campaign logistics, and collaboration with offshore teams. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, highly organized, and proficient in AI tools to enhance content development and automation workflows. This is an on-site, full-time role ideal for someone passionate about digital communication trends and hands-on marketing support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Social Media & Content Coordination
    • Assist in scheduling and publishing content across platforms including LinkedIn and TikTok.
    • Route content requests and coordinate input across teams to ensure timely delivery.
    • Maintain content calendars and timelines in collaboration with Communication Coordinators.
    • Support updating of chatbots, “Link in Bio” tools, and other content assets.
  • AI-Enhanced Content & Automation
    • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) for ideation, automation, and prompt generation.
    • Create expert-level AI prompts to support marketing innovation and workflow efficiency.
  • Campaign & Project Support
    • Assist with SMS campaigns including scheduling messages, crafting copy, and tracking performance.
    • Conduct market research on social media trends, formats, and brand voice strategies.
    • Support influencer outreach, surveys, and community engagement activities.
    • Communicate with offshore team members to ensure proper content execution.
  • Administrative & Miscellaneous Duties
    • Assist with project tracking and content routing using project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, MeisterTask).
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support team initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
    • Associate’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
    • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media roles preferred.
  • Skills & Tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and time management.
    • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok tools).
    • Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Excel, and cloud-based file systems.
    • Basic understanding of project coordination and digital workflow tools.
    • Experience with project management platforms (e.g., ClickUp, MeisterTask) is a plus.
    • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) for creative and operational tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This hybrid role involves frequent computer use and collaboration via digital tools. The position requires prolonged sitting, use of hands for typing and data entry, and occasional lifting of materials up to 20 pounds. Regular communication—both in-person and digital—is essential.
