The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehab care to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all legal and organizational standards.
- Requires a graduate degree (MS or MA) from an accredited program and ASHA certification or eligibility for CFY, with current state licensure and CPR certification.
- Preferred one year of post-acute care experience; must participate in community health projects as appropriate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, capable of making independent decisions, and knowledgeable of relevant laws and procedures.
- Responsible for establishing goals, charting, utilizing therapy software, and providing excellent patient service.
- May oversee CFYs and follow treatment plans under supervision. Must maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and adhere to policies, including safety and emergency procedures.
- Demonstrates dependable attendance, teamwork, and effective communication skills. Physical mobility and fluency in English are required.
