The Role:

The Global Demand Team at Popsockets is a group of fun and talented professionals looking to add a Demand Planner to support our Wholesale channel! This teammate will be responsible for building and developing our wholesale forecasting strategy. A successful candidate will have a strong background in forecasting/planning and the drive to push the envelope. We are looking for an individual with an upbeat attitude and a strategic thinker who wants to grow in a dynamic company that values collaboration and hard work.

Responsibilities:

  • The Demand Planner will be responsible for cultivating, maintaining, and communicating all aspects of product demand for their specified channel as well as supporting the advancement of our overall forecasting process and methodology.
  • Build SKU, product category, and channel-level forecasts in alignment with overall company goals
  • Synchronize Bottom-up forecasts with Top-down financial targets
  • Utilize forecasting software to build and maintain forecasts that are used to drive inventory purchasing
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to understand and plan for new product introductions
  • Develop estimates and projections for all upcoming products to inform material purchases
  • Analyze and report on product-level and channel level trends to inform marketing and assortment decisions
  • Develop an understanding of retail customer patterns and requirements
  • Other supporting duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business-related field or 5+ years of supply chain work experience
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in planning and demand management, or materials management.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in retail planning/inventory control experience
  • Understanding of retail corporate purchasing processes
  • Experience working with enterprise forecasting software, preferably Forecast Pro
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for data-driven decision-making
  • Experience collaborating between cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills

$70,000 - $80,000 a year

10% Bonus potential
